"The Marquis"
I am an enemy of normal
Twisted but cordial
This whole ordeal of
murder
jail
prison
And the satanic religion
Is just one piece of the picture
Let me be your god
I am the reincarnation
of the Marquis de Sade
Let us fuck
Make magic
And dine on the hearts of the lesser
There are five major reasons the far Right and christian conservatives are wrong when it comes to religion. This can be demonstrated not just from a scientific viewpoint but according to their own Bible. The following beliefs are prevalent in most christian circles despite being scriptually unsound.
1. THE EARTH IS ONLY A FEW THOUSAND YEARS OLD
When I first heard this I assumed it was a "straw man" argument. During the small time frame where I gave the Bible a try, I was never taught this insane belief. That's because it is not actually in the Bible. Although Genesis does claim the earth was created in merely six days, scripture later explains that God's concept of time is radically different from man's. (A day to the Lord is like a thousand years...)
2. JESUS WILL RETURN WITHIN OUR LIFETIME
Once again, I will not use science to refute this absurd notion. Anyone with even a sixth grade knowledge of biology and physics would know this is impossible. I will use their own text to explain why mantras such as, "The rapture is coming soon!" and, "We're living in the last days" are simply wrong. Jesus himself was asked when he would return (as if he were an astronaut) and he simply replied that he didn't know, only God did. If the gospel authors recorded it correctly, Jesus actually said, "No one knows the day or the hour..." Despite this black and white answer, millions of Americans believe he will return by 2050.
3. THE UNITED STATES IS A CHRISTIAN NATION.
Between the "one nation under God" reference and the national motto of, "In God we trust", it is easy to understand why anyone would buy this myth. Ironically, many Bible scholars and teachers are convinced that America is the beast. Believers love referencing our nations so-called religious heritage as if that somehow validates their judgmental and outdated beliefs. They are also quick to paint America as "The beast from the revelation" and "The great Satan"
4. GOD FORGIVES ALL
This is perhaps the most laughable on the list, the New Testament clearly states there is a sin which unforgivable. That would be "blasphemy against the holy spirit."Perhaps they should invent an app that will alert you if you've insulted this invisible ghost.
5. JESUS REPRESENTS PEACE AND KINDNESS.
Once again, if believers would actually read their Bibles they would see where he supposedly said, :I come not to bring peace but a sword." The revolutionary Jewish figure obviously knew his challenging of the established order would cause trouble. He did talk of turning the other cheek and loving your neighbor as you love yourself. He also picked arguments with his elders, disrespected money changers, and accused other Jews of being Satan's children.

I'm coming raw and uncut
It was all from the gut
In my neighborhood
We went to the mall with our guns
Ruthless and tough I think not
Just scared we would get shot
By a kid from a different block
Or stopped by the cops
For the glocks that we packed
Believe it, it's fact
Because we never had dads
And we never knew fathers
Most grew to be monsters
unconscious of the terror
we perpetrated as convicts.

What I need is a kindred heartbeat
To console me in my fear
That because I'm in a tomb I'm dead
Contained within gothic architecture
I yearn for a letter
A visit or presence
Inside I'm feeling like Hannibal
A psychological cannibal
Can you fathom
The radical anatomy of this animal
Sure I smile but that's
Because my pain would upset you
I'm sure you smile
Because it would depress you
If I did not care, reflect or respond
Could you sacrifice your heart
Like an inanimate pawn
And how could you hear it beat at all
From the outside looking in
To console me in my fear
That because I'm in a tomb I'm dead
Contained within gothic architecture
I yearn for a letter
A visit or presence
Inside I'm feeling like Hannibal
A psychological cannibal

Could you sacrifice your heart
Like an inanimate pawn
And how could you hear it beat at all
From the outside looking in
I could complain
and you would relate
I could explain
But you would hate
Everything beautiful I have made
Are you an inmate, a convict
Or some other breed
A realist, a faker
Or caught in between
And why should I care
If you don't want to be free
Your hatred is toxic
Its energy has no end
Brain cells and prison cells
We're locked up in them
You ask who I am
I thought you knew
I am everything you could be
If you were just you.

I stepped onto a dusty road
The night was almost through
If my life were a genre
It would probably be a few
I made people laugh
All of us have cried
And as I walked that road
He pulled over to the side
He said "my name is Nick
Please do get in
I don't know where you're going
But I know where you've been"
"You must be the devil
A demon or a ghost"
"On the contrary," he responded.
"Just a gentleman and a host"
So we made some miles
And had some smiles
Then the dawn was close
So we rode into the silence
He smiles and hummed a tune
"You probably want my soul" I said.
He laughed and said, "It's used"
Then I woke up in my bed
Quite startled and confused
Of course it was morning
Yet I still wore my dusty shoes...

You let me know
That I can be me uncompromised
A kindred star
It's an honor to have met you
In this lifetime
It's a wonder I'm not crazy
All the pain I've handled
Although beware
I don't claim to be undamaged
You let me know
That the best pieces of me
Are still unrevealed
You inspire the buried gems
I break the laws of poetry
Trying to define your effect
The saga of life continues
Without you a dream
Without you a hell
I write from my cell
And your photograph winks at me
You let me know
Delicious words heal
I taste you sometimes
Digest you always
You fuck my heartbeat
And subdue my heart strings
You let me know
I do what other men cannot
Because I want to own you
In body. In spirit. In thought
You let me know
That I can be me uncompromised

I try and recall lost manuscripts
From the hand of one who abandoned bliss
I come to the conclusion that
I'm just a masochist
Ranting of insanity
A man without a family
Suicide, friend of no one
I sent pleas to you
Did you know I wrote them?
I need some amusement
In this life of abusement
Between heartbreak and bullshit
I'm on my last limb
My enemies will hate
Until I'm in my crate
On my way too Hell's gate...
Dawn approaches, prayers are worthless
Life is precious only if you want it
They build prisons for when people say, "Fuck it"
And they build coffins for when people say nothing.
So I continue to write
I still have my inner light
Take my hand and walk on.

I feel like a revolutionary
Without a revolution
An equation without a solution
A prison without women
Is living without a future
I'm immersed in a culture of self-abusers
Truth can be found everywhere
Except for the "just-us" system
How just is prison?
Like fish in a stone bowl
You limit their vision
And potential for growth
Around and 'round we go
I feel like a revolutionary
Without a revolution
An equation without a solution
A prison without women
Is living without a future

I walk through the front door
You pause in your chores
A 1950's style housewife
Is the image you evoke
My sweat is somehow erotic
Your walk is hypnotic
My muse. My savior.
My goddess. My trainer.
Let me do all the things I've described on paper
I don't deserve them
But tell me how to earn them
I will submit to your dominations
By dusk after a hard day's work
I walk through the front door
You pause in your chores
A 1950's style housewife

Dear Someone,
I am a prisoner
But humanism has inspired me
I wrote in my diary
That while I will never be Ivy League
My DNA enables me
To change my criminal pedigree
Dear Someone,
My cage is draconian
But the fire inside me
Won't stay ignorant
It builds slowly
Fed by the sciences
As censors try to silence the id
I'm from the school of Prometheus
Yours Truly,
A Humanist

Bare assed in a strait jacket
Bitch slapped with a gloved hand
Excited over what might happen
She told me to keep her secrets
El mundo did not know
She is a Venus
A goddess, a domme
I am put on a leash
Denied the privilege to cum
Ten years ago El mundo
Would have denounced my love
Of the whip as sick
Five hundred years ago
El mundo would have
Burned her as a witch
It's funny how things change
But our nature stays the same...
El mundo is our domain

Submission is in my veins
It is no longer a choice
It feels like destiny, magic
Or some other vice
I was a young man
In middle America
Frustrated with the vanilla
I yearned for a master
Male or female, it didn't matter
As long as it was the kind in leather
Now I've found her
As I kneel to her power
And it feels like hell
If hell were heaven
Without a god or judgement
In my veins I say
I like chains and have
A strange way I play
She understands me
And that is why
She is my master.

I'm from the place where
people don't respect you
unless you hustle
but then they want to
take what you've got
I'm from the realm
of lack of opportunity
surrounded by men
who are masters of bullshit
they blame ignorance on incarceration
yet worship the television
I used to believe in anarchy
until seeing all the sheep
that need governed
I'm not dead
although people pretend I am
The system has not failed me
although I have failed the system
I know they are human
and reluctant to recognize me
as a part of their species
My poetry is power
I mind fuck people
yet free them at the same time
I am neither a pristine saint
or a lowly sinner...
I'm an innovator

I can make love without touching you
Turn you out without fucking you
On the astral plane
It's your ass that I claim
I would shave and enslave you
Yet worship and aid you
I'm the man on the channel
So subscribe to my cable
Whether its vaginal or painful
And by that I mean anal
I'll fuck your spirit from prison
A sadomasochistic angel
So listen luv
I'll put you on a leash
And I'll train you
In the day I would taste you
But in the night I would claim you.

Turn you out without fucking you

I saw a lion hug a man
and thought I saw a turtle cry
If they can have compassion so can I
Feeling lust, rage and elation
sex, hate and sedation
seeing mental patients
with a touch of genius
if God was a man I'd worship Venus
because the world's disordered
and nature's a whore
we pay her to feed us
seduction and gore
Sex and violence
my conscience is silent
I want what I want
Sex, hate and compassion.
